The Spanish Grand Prix will take place at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, 12 miles north of the city of Barcelona, on Sunday 15th May and we could be set to see another victory for Nico Rosberg. His Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton could follow in at second place, just like last year, or will Ferrari take the other podium spots?
Top Tip: If you’re heading to the race, be sure to get a spot at Elf corner where you’re most likely to see some overtaking action.
You can watch the race on Channel 4 or Sky Sports F1 at 1pm, or Eurocamp can bring you closer to the action, with 2 parcs in good locations for the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

Situated in the vibrant seaside resort of Lloret de Mar, Camping Tucan is a 50 minute/40 mile drive away from the circuit and the perfect choice for if you’re bringing along the family. There’s a beach just 1 km down the road, as well as a playground and pool complex on parc.

Good for families, but also the perfect choice for those holidaying without children, Vilanova Park is a 55 minute/48 mile drive away from the circuit. You can relax at the spa on parc in the day, and dine in the Catalan farmhouse at night. Or if you fancy a bit of party atmosphere head to the lively resort of Stiges.
From either parc you can easily take in the sights of Barcelona whilst you’re in the area, even if only for a day trip. You can find out all about what to see in the city in our guide: The Best of Barcelona in 24 Hours.
